CherishDoll price confusion

Postby Evelien » Sat Apr 28, 2012 9:43 am

I really like CherishDoll Faith tinies because they have such cute slim bodies... but the pricing on the website is confusing me.

http://www.cherishdoll.us

If you go to the Faith section, a full doll will cost you $120. BUT... a loose head is $35 and a loose body is $65. The total of a full doll, when you order the head and body instead of the doll at once, is $100. This is $20 cheaper than ordering a doll. Usually it's the other way around, lol. Help me out here... Am I missing something..?

-edit- The only difference is the random wig/eyes as a gift when you order a full doll.. But I rarely like the random stuff I get anyway because I usually have my own plan for my doll.

Lol I was wondering about that myself. They must not like doing faceups, this is a good way to discourage people to get one XD

I didn't need to see Cecil, not bad price wise. So the Faith line compares to Yo-SD and Dollzone BB?

They're about 20cm tall, I think. :)

I think they've been around for quite a while, but I never discovered them before until I found one of their dolls on the DoA MP. I fell in love with the slim body :).

Just like today I discovered Neo-AngelRegion, a Soom division (I think. At least their dolls are sold on the Soom website and delivered in Soom boxes.)... and I ordered a tiny from them immediately XD

CherishDoll is a very old company, I bought my second doll from them, a Chubby. That was in 2008, the bodies were terrible and didn't even have s-hooks! D: They couldn't pose worth squat and he was so stiff...I promptly sold him.
But I'm going to assume that their bodies and posing ability has done nothing but increase. :)

I do know that they still don't have S-hooks. Someone else in my country went to Think Pink for S-hooks and they modified the smallest ones they had for her, so that they would fit :P
