Hello everyone,

So I ended up ordering my first 1/6 Pure Neemo from Azone. Does anyone here collect them? I have some questions maybe someone can answer...

1) I notice that clothing specifies the difference. I got I e with an s (maybe xs?) body shape, how much is te difference between the other shapes? Is it just one of those things were they can just stuff their bra?

2) the bigger Azone uses obitsu bodies so you can replace parts. Does that apply to the pure neemo?

3) any care or maintenance concerns?

2) The pure neemo body is not the same as the obitsu 1/6 bodies. It has a more stylized look and, I think, is slightly less articulated. I don't think parts would be easily interchangeable between the two companies' dolls(except heads obviously), but it could probably be done somehow.

I don't have neemos but I buy their clothes sometimes.
So, not sure how helpful I'm gonna be but since Neemos have their sizing chart. It would do you good to keep an eye out for the chart.

My 27cm and 25cm can wear related size clothes but some stuff is always tight around the waist.

Anyway you could ask around at the flickr group for Neemos

Neemo joint parts are made differently from Obitsu. tou would need to mod them. But they sort of do have parts on sale

I don't collect Neemo, but we recently made a Tomoyo-chan doll out of a Pure Neemo for a commission.

They're very heavy (feel like they've got a metal skeleton or something! Really nice weight feel to them) and their skin feels very realistic and nice! Definitely a quality feel and look to them.
The one I used was super realistic, too. The legs had shape and were curvy, beautifully, realistically sculpted EVERYTHING! I thought she was a real little person!

On the down side, she had barely any joints or movable parts. She could move her arms up and down, but that's about it. However, the beauty of the body really made her something special and limited mobility could be forgiven for the look/feel.

I wish I had taken photos of her without her outfit on, so you could see the body shape, but unfortunately, I didn't. :( So you can't see anything but her hands! Argh! Anyway, here is a Pure Neemo Tomoyo-chan we made last year:

There are different types of Neemo too. There is a type that has more mobility than a standard Neemo.

I found a pic comparing similar sized dolls on Flickr.

And of the two main types of Neemo. Tomoyo-chan must have been an "Advance" type.
