Rosiel's head is here!

It's the Apple B head, which is resin.
Now I'm all nervous about doing his faceup... not just because he's one of my favorite characters ever, but because I have never worked with resin before.

Cool!! I really like the apple heads. And about doing faceups... I went from vinyl to resin and thought resin was much easier, or at least it seemed that way. Don't know why.

Aww, this head is really nice!
I never painted resin, but some friends of mine said as Evelien that's easier to paint, maybe because absorb colors in a better way due to porosity and don't get stained so easily like vinyl. So have fun, I'm looking forward to see your Rosiel completed ^_-

Does that head have eye pockets, or is it just holes and u=you use putty to place in the eyes. I was eyeing up the Apple A head for a completely different doll that didn't get born because of Christmas plans screwing up. lol

Congrats! I actually like painting vinyl better...lol. I mean I love resin and there are a lot more resin sculpts out there than vinyl but everytime I switch back to vinyl from resin I think ooooh....that's nice. lol. Might have to do that I usually paint the eyeballs on vinyl and I find that fun. The paint also sticks better to vinyl from what I can tell.
Either way painting resin and vinyl is about the same. I just ordered 6 cans of MSC from JS because I can hear the death rattle of my last can...(working on jobs right now so no time to do faceups but I don't want to run out!) I also threw in a bunch of Obitsu heads to play with so yay lots of vinyl coming my way. I considered an apple head but so expensive for the size!

No, it doesn't have eye pockets. You have to use eye putty.
It was also my firts experience with a magnetic headcap... which is actually a lot less secure than the Obitsu vinyl heads' headcaps.
