The original poster is said to be VItamin_d_81 on Instagram (I don't go there) but they have clothes free comparisons of the new Jem doll with an original Hasbro, several Barbies, and an ILY doll.

The only other thing I'd like to know is if she can sit in a chair.

I'm still desperately searching for the new Jem doll. My local store hasn't gotten here yet, and the nearest store that had her is almost an hour and a half away, and I've had exactly zero days off in the last ten days.

She looks good if she has good articulation.

There are four other things I would like to know about this figure:

1. Can she stand on her own (preferably having flat feet)?
2. Can her underbust joint twist (unlike M2M)?
3. Can this body accept other/common heads?
4. Does she have multiracial band mates for other color matching opportunities...?

So far, 4 is technically no as as far as the dolls do. Jem is the only doll they've made for 2025 so far. As for the show, them the answer is yes.

In a way there's no reason to compare to the old dolls as they're click knee type, and basically a Darci, who is bigger than Barbie, if you ever had one. Comparing them to a MtM Barbie, Fashionista and ILY are better apples to apples.

I stopped running my old comparison site because, especially at the time, keeping up with new releases and betting on which would trend wasn't financially attainable. No regrets buying the Liv but a couple others just sit in a storage tub. It's nice to see other people carrying on the idea tho. I'm curious enough to get a Jem should I ever see one.
