Dollieh Sanctuary

I know I don't have as many dolls as some of you here. I wanted to show off my collection because I'm really happy with all my dolls. I also have a Deuce Gorgon and Jackson Jekyll, but they're not on the shelf yet.

Here's my Monster High:

And here are the dolls I just got today. I can't believe I found a Kitty Cheshire! She's so hard to find.


I have noticed that my local Toys R Us has really stocked up on Monster High dolls. They have a lot of the guy dolls, including a 2-doll set and a set with Rochelle and her boyfriend. That's where I found Kitty Cheshire, too. I'm trying to find a Lizzie Heart. I saw her at Target and didn't buy her and when I went back she was gone.

Awesome! Did you end up doing customs with the two you bought from me? I'd love to see closeups of your customs. I want to be able to display mine - I am woking on reducing the number so I will need less display space.

Congrats on the Kitty Cheshire. (And all the rest, too! XD) I don't know a lot about Ever After High (yet, they're on my 'pending' list, and I only recently got my first Monster High doll), but I do know about the difficulties of finding that one figure that's been shortpacked. Plus the Cheshire Cat has always been one of my more favorite Alice In Wonderland characters, in most of the various interpretations thereof. And I have a soft spot for cats. So I feel secure in saying she is absolutely adorable. XD Are her legs painted that color or are they stripey socks? (And now I'm going to have that darn song from the Disney version stuck in my head again... T'was brillig, and the slithy toves...)

Eseme- thanks! I did make one custom that sold at a craft fair I did. The other one is in limbo because I got mad at the eyes lol

XD I've had that happen! I'm still not 100% happy with Angela's eyes... caught myself thinking just now that maybe just a bit more highlight would get them right...

Stripey socks with just a hint of a chevron/zigzag to them. Me too! (Tho I think I'd want mine in green. XD)

I especially like the lizard girl of your customs. She looks like it wouldn't be a surprise at all to find her stuck on a wall somewhere!

I think that Kitty is a new release. But don't quote me. Still an awesome find, she does seem very shortpacked. I'm kinda mad at the EH dolls since the characters with fun ears, don't really have the fun ears, just headbands >_<

That is a nice MH collection, Skelita and Jinafire are hard to find in my neck of the woods. And the customs look awesome.

Thanks! Yeah, Skelita was kind of a random find. One of the Target stores near me had a bunch of Scaris Jinafire dolls, but I haven't see any since. For a while Toys r Us didn't have very much for Monster High, but they had a ton last time I went. They even still have some of the Headless Headmistress dolls still.

I love both the customs! You've got great skills!

Thanks, Eseme! The rocker kitty has eye decals that I bought from Junky Spot. They're kind of hard to apply because the eyes of these dolls are curved and they don't like to go on straight. I have the CAM add-on for a harpy and that's what I needed the pink body from you for. She's going to be "daughter of a Hagraven" from Skyrim (video game), but they eye decals were being difficult and they started ripping and I ran out. >:( Someday I'll finish that one, darn it.
