What makes it even worse for me is that those next to the jem and 2 monchichi were the only toy's I managed to safe from my dad tossing ALL my toys without consorting me or my mom (if he had done so I would have gladely taken all of them to my own house! But he never told me or mom it was a problem my old stuff was standing in the basement...)

I hate to be the grammar police here, but the word you want here is definitely "consulting" not "consorting".....
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

Your right consulting. How did I end up writing consorting?
Must be the "doing 4 things at the same time" juggle which made me do it..

Lamia, you know Lif and I are from the Netherlands right..? English is not our primary language. We do our best but it'll never be like speaking/writing Dutch.

I have the show DVD's and I have Jem, Danse, Kimber and Rio. I totally covet Synergy and Aja, and they are why I just can't stand the new Jem collector's dolls. To me those just look nothing like the Holograms.

And yes that too. Thanks Evelien.

@Magkelly: I must admit I do not fully recall which name the other band members had. Its been a while since I last saw the series. And when I was searching for why my Jem had a different look to most of the others I found out there even where 2 other bands (one besides the misfits) which I had no notion of! Seems I missed half the series for some reason...

The third band is the Stingers with a guy and two girls.

You can get all 3 seasons on DVD in the US/Region 1. It's very easy to unlock a DVD player, do it to an older one that isn't under warranty so you don't void it. Search for the DVD hack code for your player model, or one similar to it, and you press a few buttons on your remote.

On the computer the VLC player will play many but not all multi region DVDs.

No, it's the whole world and there are like 5 regions all total as I recall but you can get around that. I have PAL DVD's that play on my computer and I am in the USA. It all depends upon whether the region coding in your DVD drive is set to one country or not. Some are, some aren't. Same as a regular DVD player you can reset it with software to no region if yours is. You're technically not supposed to do that but I refuse to be limited by that kind of thing. There should not be 5 different formats of DVD's, IMHO. I actually ripped mine when I got them so I could watch them on my computer any time I wanted. Also technically a no-no depending upon who you ask but DVD's can play very slowly on my PC and I don't like to use my originals and risk damage. Plus when it comes to computer files region is non-thing. :P

I know :(

But would you rather be corrected, or not know that you made a mistake?

(And, trust me, some people who speak English as their first language don't speak it as well as you do... on the internet, at least.)

Didn't see your reaction earlier!

I never knew this.I thought there was just over here and over there kinda region XD
I don't understand why they have these anyway.
But then again I do not understand much of these kind of things. My husbands the technichian here. Hes in charge of copying, burning and installing any and all techy stuff which is or should play audio or video :P
And thanks to his crazyness about these kind of things I have a hard time getting anything to work over here anyway part from my comp.
When I want to play a dvd I have to switch the tv, the dvd player and the audio thingy on and set the audio thingy to hdml 2 or something and then set our tv to some channel I can't even recall the names of... its the second in the list (and when that doesn't work I try every option in that list XD)
And for all this I need atleased 3 sepperate remotes which I hate cause I usually can't find one of them.
I usually do manage this all but the audio thingy can be set to something else which somehow makes it not go louder when I want it to. And when my hubby has been rearanging things its all going to work different again.
This is all thanks to that stupid audio thingy he bought some time ago and made everything plug in differently.
I can't make heads nor tails out of it anymore!
But I guess you figured that out by this whole story by now

I usually just watch things on my comp to avoid being irritated and stressed out about all those buttons! :P
