Eve the Cat dolls?

Suddenly they are all over, but the thread on a certain forum was locked up.

http://pets.evethecat.com/

I was interested in seeing owner experiences but I guess it's under review for acceptance on the other forum. However, I noticed that some of the members commenting were on this forum as well. Any further news? I'm very curious about this 'printed' or cast doll, and the differences in how being printed or cast make in it.

Oh! I see those on Tumblr from time to time and am seriously tempted by the printed version. IIRC only a couple have been owner pics, and no reviews.

Sorry - not much actual help, I know...

Friends in Texas have them, and recommend them. The person has also sculpted a Dragon!
I think these are 3D prints, and I would definitely get one! They look super posable, and cute!

Those look pretty cool. Not sure what size I'd get, would need to go measure one of my mom's cats as I'd most likely paint this one to match. Only $250 for an unassembled, unpainted 8cm. ^.^

On the 3d printed vs cast, for a professional grade 3d printer there isn't any difference in structural strength that I've seen in the areas I've dealt with the two types (miniature gaming). Kiki-chan78 (at least I think it's Kiki-chan) can probably give more specific comparisons for the particular strengths/weaknesses of 3d prints in relation to dolliehs, the Sweet Doll Fairies are really strong from what I've seen/heard around here and are made from nylon. The cat site lists their 3d material as polyamide... and while nylon is a polyamide, it's not the only one.

Well, hopefully the members who were posting on that thread will start again here? There was an interesting post on how to assemble the dolls started and I didn't realize the thread was locked until I tried to post a question, I was so excited to see the doll in customer photos in un-assembled form.

I love the teaspoon size, but I would get the biggest one. I do wish I could afford a few of them! LOL, crazy cat-doll me. I just wonder how strong they are, how long they would last, things you worry about, like yellowing in BJDs. They are so beautifully articulated, someone really knows cats.

Oh I've seen those too! :3 They are so cute and seem to be very poseable~<3
I'm very tempted to buy one (10cm Sphinx) with both heads and all three (different) eyes to change the doll's expressions - just purrrfect. ^^
But they are so expensive! I'm waiting people to buy them so I can read reviews and see more pictures before buying.

Holy crap these are amazing. Maybe down the road tiny Taavi's apartment will require a pet.
