Hello all! Come in, grab some popcorn and sit down to watch a dolly-movie I made. It's only 5 minutes long but took about 4 weeks to make..

It's based on Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid, but be warned - this is NOT Disney. Contains mermaid creepiness and loss of limbs. It's a modern re-telling from the perspective of the witch and has many actual quotes from the book - "Like all the others she had no feet" - and I took this very literally.

A tale where dolls are bizarre mermaids and love is unrequited.

Heeeere you go! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okgiPbpd4Z4&feature=youtu.be

Wow. How did you create the drip effect on the little mermaid? I really like that.

PVA glue, if you sort of "glob" it on it will eventually dry clear :)

NB- To my great annoyance and disappointment someone graffiti'd on the set, unfortunately you can see some scribbles in the background in a few scenes. Grrrrr, I never knew who it was but I felt it spoilt some of the film.

Very cool! I like how you used obitsu pieces for when the witch grabbed the potion.

What is the music from? I have it on CD somewhere... is it from the Silent Hill 3 soundtrack? Or from .hack//sign?

If you don't know it, you don't see it, trust me. At least, I didn't and I had no idea until I read this.
I love it, awesome work!

Wow! Very well done. I have read a few versions of the little mermaid, but I like this one being from the Witch's perspective.
