Fairyland / MULTI HEAD Advice

Postby twiddle66 » Tue Aug 14, 2012 5:54 am

I am new to Fairylands dolls and am currently buying tinies.

I want to buy a couple Pukipuki's and have seen pics of that size using the "multi head" and really like that slightly oversized look it gives to the head.

It reminds me of the Liddle Kiddles I loved and played with as a child!

How do you choose a face for the multi head because I really want Pong Pong face on a multihead on a pukipuki sized body, but so far I have only seen the multihead offered on two pukifee doll sized dolls and only with the purchase of two complete pukifees with faces other than Pong.

Can anyone who has used the Multiheads tell me if that is something Fairyland is phasing out?

Does Multi mean that all the pukifee faceplates will fit the multi head back and that all multi head backs will fit the pukipuki body?

And do you have to buy a complete pukifee to get the multihead and pong pong face?

Also- for anyone who has used the multihead-- I see them come up for sale by themselves second hand-- is this because they have drawbacks or are not posing friendly or something?

If I buy a second hand one is there a good chance it will fit any Pong Pong face plate and my Pukipuki body- or does Pukipuki have a different multi head than Pukifee?

I thought this was going to be easy--like buying options on a car-- yes- I want that model with a spoiler or without and with that interior but not the cup holders kind of thing---but the more I google around the more overwhelmed I feel!

Help!

I don't think the Multiheads were ever sold as a set with a body, weren't they all event gifts?

The Multiheads are in between Pukifee and PukiPuki sizewise and will fit on both bodies. I have bought a Multihead Ante but I didn't like it on my PukiPuki body, I don't know, I think I did something wrong because the neck totally disappeared.

Oh thats great info! Now that I look at the comparison again I can see what you are talking about--it really is a head that is midway between the sizes of the other two heads!! I didn't even notice before you posted this! Thank You!!

---Someone else told me there is one multi head but two neck pieces or something. So now I wonder if there is a separate neck adapter piece that would need to be used with the smaller neck??? HMMMMM-- Maybe I should just give up on the multi head obsession!! I think I will go ahead and order a standard Pon Pong Pukipuki!

Thanks for helping to push me over the edge---or pull me back from it! LOL

I think the multihead with another neck adapter was an event head they'd released for chic line and little fee bodies. Way too big for puki bodies.

I think there is one or two multi heads for pukifee on the Denver Doll Emporium store. I remember seeing them there. I dont recall if it came with a body or not, but check their pukifee category.
