Liv Dolls

I've never owned a Liv doll but now I'm looking to get two. Catch: I need one with a pale skin completion and one with a more orange/tan complextion. Think lots of tanning. I'm making two girl dolls to match the Tumblr Creamsicle OTP craze that's going on. So, what are the best matches? I'm really happy to see that on Amazon these dolls are on the cheap side, so that'll better convince my husband to let me buy two (and the possible brown and blond wigs I'll need if the dolls don't already come with them.)

I have three Liv girls - Katie, Daniela and Alexis. Alexis is very tan while Katie is rather pale. She is a bit paler than Daniela. Although I believe that Sophie is the most pale of them all. Sadly, I don't own her and can't compare with others.

This is the kind of owner pic I needed. Thank you! Looks like Daniela is going to have the best match for the "doll that tans a lot." I can blush her if need be to get that fake tan look. Katie is the kind of pale I need. Woo! Thanks again.

Also, some of the Amazon photos make it look like they have no joints, which was confusing me. lol

Found photos with different lightning. Hope it helps.

Aside from Liv for color and Liv Brites, all the others have the same joints as the ones shown in photos above.
And here is Alexis from Liv for Color. She has only joints in her knees but they don't bend much.

Interesting to know that theres two lines with different joints.

Hopefully my Target will have some so I can see first hand before buying. I want to try and get the skin colors just right so I can avoid having to do a ton of body blushing. Though, it looks like two of the ones you've shown me are pretty spot on. :)

They frighted me too at first but after I got one I've changed my mind. They look different in person. Sometimes photos give them a walleyed look.

I've got a full set and a guy so I can compare them to any Barbies or Monsters if you want. It's been noticed there can be slight variation in some of the darker dolls from one line to another.

Whatever other owner pics I can see so I know the skin tones would be great. :D
