Bunch of questions about DollZone also MSC alternatives?

1. Who retails for them?
2. What colours do the resins come in - is their white a true paper white colour? Sorry, wasn't entirely sure from the photos, but it looks it
3. What do their dolls pose-like? (Any issues there? Especially the larger guys 65-72cm range)

Thanks!
(As you can tell I'm eyeing up their range... )

Right sorry another semi-related qs. ran out of the dregs of my MSC completely a couple of weeks ago... And no where is willing to send it to the UK that I've heard of. But today, whilst in a hobby shop I found a massive Tamiya colour section! *epicly surprised!* So I went in and bought a load of stuff... They've got these awesome little paint cakes that look like eyeshadow, only it's specifically for plastic! (Bought a load) but I also bought a can of their Flat Clear TS-80, for plastics. Will this work in a similar way? (I risked it on an ABS doll and it seems to work fine, i.e. it hasn't melted... But will it be ok for polyurethane resin? Since I've heard it can be finicky in ways that are surprising...)

Junkyspot.com is a great hook up
Beauty White is a creamy color (see my avatar), I also have the other white, bought in 2011, and it's very white but not a pure snowskin. It's very pretty with perhaps a hint of pink.
My 70s are from 2007 and doing fine but I don't use them much, the other Dollzones are much more used and doing great.

I LOVE LOVE the DZ male bodies! They have gorgeous sculpting, nice shoulders and this 'attitude' that's somehow built into the bodies! I know particularly, because I bought a DZ 70cm Yuu back in 2007 and I LOVED him for my Kiyan doll, but he was a tad too tall.

So I bought a 65cm Island doll body for my Yuu head and....it just wasn't as nice at all. :( It's a well made body but.....it's so sterile and stiff! The DZ boys can look good just slouching in a chair or standing, etc! They somehow gave their arms and torso a real 'manly' look.
I was thankful when DZ came out with the 65cm and I promptly bought one for my Kiyan-sama doll!
He (and I) love it again as it's just as nice as his original 70cm body!

THe 70cm bodies are perfect---NO posing or looks problems at all. The 65cm is nearly perfect---I've had a couple of issues with his stomach joint popping out while posing, but it's nothing bad at all! ^^

If you are interested right now, they are discontinuing some of their sculpts at a good discount!!

Junkyspot, Denver Doll and Mint on Card all carry DZ. BUT Junkyspot only carries instock dolls, which means that the clearance price probably won't be effective there. Denver doll and Mint on Card both have layaway options. With Denver Doll you can also choose what body you want them on. You can't with JS and MoC.

I had the old 60cm boy body. He was heavy and posed alright; I'm sure the newer bodies pose much better. :)

DZ white is kind of a creamy color, Natural Skin Yellow is very pretty! Like a light tan.

ooh thanks! I'm just going to head over to those sites now...

Edit: Actually I think I might be sensible on this and wait for junkyspot to put a pre-order up... Just to stop my bank from trying to kill me!

Edit 2: Curses, sensible behaviour is now being enforced! MoC stopped shipping dolls overseas, i.e. to non-Americans like me this month (drat!) and I don't trust Denver dolls lack of encryption on their "give us your details" page... sigh

You speak (type?) really good english, I thought you were American! haha

Not sure where you are, but Think Pink sells DZ... not sure who else? FeatherFall? They might be in the usa though...or Canada? There is another company in Europe that is a dealer for DZ but I can't remember who!

Well - I am from the UK!

Thanks - I'll have a proper look in the morning (only typing now due to heat related insomnia, I can never get enough sleep when it's warm..)

Featherfall is in Canada.

Angelesque carries Dollzone and is in the UK. http://www.angelesque.co.uk

Hope that's a bit helpful o-o

I have unblushed examples of their white, natural pink, and natural yellow at home. I'll try and get a good picture of that taken for you. I also have one of their 70cm boys. I can take some posing pictures if you'd like. Are their any specific poses you would like to see?
