Hi. I am trying to repaint doll eyes. I keep getting close but i keep messing up.

Have you tried eye decals instead?

Repainting eyes, at least for me, is the hardest part of a custom. I sometimes spend 20 to 30 tries on the eyes, painting and wiping them off, before I finally have to say "good enough" and just leave it alone. It takes a lot of practice.

This is something to practice on paper until it becomes muscle memory. I can do realistic eyes but stylized anime ones are hard.

If you do an image search for "paint anime eyes" a bunch of step by step photo tutorials show up.
