I still would rather order from BBB or RS than from the JS... as far as I can see, Emory has never had any dolls in stock without a faceup. Also, he usually only carries NS, WS and if you're lucky light tan... if I'd get a RS doll, I'd make sure it would be a funky colour

Removing a face up is as easy as Isoproyl Alcohol 91%, a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, and a little elbow grease.

I always feel like I am ruining the value of a doll by removing it's company faceup so I prefer to buy them blank personally. There's no evidence of a Resinsoul/Bobobie company face up increasing or decreasing it's value in the second hand market though. I'm just weird. x_x

I never feel bad removing a factory face up if it isn't the look I want. Then again the only one I have with factory is Touda (DZ Leo). Not sure about the second hand boy I got recently. Nagi, Riou, and Momiji have Kiki-chan78 custom face ups, which was the plan right from the start so getting rid of the gray factory look wasn't difficult.

(Heh - the tax thing has gotten a bit crazy recently, once they managed to charge me double what was actually due - which was awful because it was UPS who demand payment on your doorstep rather than send a surprise invoice so you can at least check it's all correct, but horrific!)
