What kind of hair does Obitsu use?

Postby Kattriella » Wed Nov 18, 2020 1:30 am

My Obitsu girls are both a little sparse, and I'd like to add a little more hair, but I don't know which kind to get. All I know is it isn't kanekalon. Does anybody know whether Obitsu uses nylon or saran?

That's good to know for the future. I ended up using saran because I wasn't sure, but it seems like it blended okay. Thanks for the info!

Yes, saran and nylon are very close. Saran is a bit softer and nylon is more stiff but the 'shine' and look are about the same. :)

I've heard that the only major difference is that saran can handle way more heat, and takes more heat to style. I've only ever used saran hair for straight hair or light waves, so I haven't really tested it's curling abilities yet.
