San Francisco J-Pop Summit Festival August 27th in Japantown
I just got their blessing to host a doll meet during the event.
The J-Pop Summit Festival in Japantown is a two day event, Aug 27-28, but our doll meet will be on Saturday only from 11am-12:30pm. The Festival has Fashion shows, lots of music, movies, street fair and food vendors, and much, much more.
We'll plan on meeting in the Peace Plaza (where the tall Pagoda Stage is), Saturday between 11am-12:30pm. The Peace Plaza is not so huge we won't find each other. We can pick an optimum spot in the plaza based on the weather that day. There are areas with shade, areas with sun, areas with seating, etc....
It'll be great for so many photo ops. I was at the event last year, and there are lots of people wandering around dressed in Lolita and other great fashion. Lots of people and lots of cameras. And it will be so much fun wandering the event with our dolls afterward.
Here's a link to the event with everything they have going on, and admission is free:

They will add our Doll Meet to their schedule of events on their Facebook as well, if they haven't already.
