Dollieh Sanctuary

Hello guys! I've already posted around in the forums but I felt this introduction thing was important. As of now I only own one bjd, Suzi (pictured below) and am slowly getting clothes and modding her as I get the money.



I've been collecting all kinds of dolls since I was a youngin' so it was only a matter of time before I got my first bjd. I actually waited three years to get one. I started researching and admiring bjd's when I was 12, but it was when I was 15 when I got my first doll. I'm 16 now. ^-^ Everything kind of came together with this hobby. I started to dabble in photography when I was around age 11 and started really studying at about 13. From then to now my camera's have upgraded until I finally got a Nikon for my 16th birthday.

Aside of bjds I'm a HUGE Trekkie! I love ToS, TNG, and all the movies (the new ones are...mediocre...the casting for Kahn was waaay off and this bugs me..however Karl Urban and Anton Yelchin were the only part of the cast I really cared for). I do try to incorporate some of my wonderful fandom into my doll hobby.

Welcome to the Sanctuary! Your little Suzi is adorable! However, though I haven't seen the movie yet, the new Kahn can't possibly be horrible. He is Benedict Cumberbatch. Anything Cumberbatch does is amazing. Anything. O.O Of course, I'm more of a Sherlock fan than a Trekkie, so that might explain a few things. But, yes, WELCOME!

Don't get me wrong..I LOVE Sherlock and Benedict, just not as Kahn. I don't much like how they changed his personality in the new movie either.

Hi, im calivano. Pleased to meet you. I agree with Benedict Cumberpatch being a bad choice for Kahn. He wouldve made a great villan, just not as Kahn. I think he made a good voice for smaug the dragon, though.
