Hi there ! :D

So LONG STORY SHORT, I've been coveting BJDs since 2009. But being the poor unemployed little child I was back then, I couldn't get my own doll. ITS 2014 and im finishing my degree, yet I still couldn't afford a BJD :'< BUT ITS GETTING THERE (if only tuition fees aren't so crazy). Instead of waiting longer, I use the money I saved up to get a faceup kit (airbrush, and other things), and got myself an Ever After High Doll :)

I know its not much, but I'm really happy with her and I'm thrilled to finally have a doll I can call my own :"> (I think you guys can all relate to the warm tingly feeling of having your first doll :">)

hehe

MY NAME is Kez btw, I'm from Indonesia, but I'm studying in Vancouver atm. I don't know anyone in this area who's interested in BJD, so if you're in Vancouver, HI WHATSUP. and If you're outside of Vancouver, WHATSUP to you too!! :)

a bit about me: I breathe disney. I love all things sweet. and Dragons are my favorite animal! :)

Meet, Ace :) Her full name is Allison Caith. This was my first time trying to face up an Ever After High doll. Her base was from "Apple White".

I based Allison Caith from a character that I made for a short story in contest in middle school. I sketched her out recently to get an Idea of what kind of sculpt I should get hehe if you'd like to get to know her more, here's the deeets.

AAAAAND THATS ENOUGH OF MY BLABBERING FOR NOW

Anyways, I'm super happy about meeting you all, and getting to know people with the same hobby!!!
Messages are encouraged! Hope we can all be friends :">

Welcome to the board.

there's a rather wide range of bjds out there. Took me 6-7 years to eventually get a resin bjd after playing around with my vinyl 1/6 and 1/3. He's not my greater grail where bjds are concern but his family resemblance to my 1/6ers more than made up for that.

Take your time to save up for the one you like, if its not a limited.

From your sketch Allison has a very anime look. If you're interested in going 1/3 scale you might want to look into Volks' Dollfie Dream line.

Wow that is actually really spot on!
I was actually looking at Blue Fairy's "May", since 1/3 might be a bit big :">

I tried looking up reviews for Blue Fairies but couldn't find much O_O
