I'm old and I try to keep it simple so I don't have to remember a lot of aliases -- this works for me. I have recently started collecting a few dollies and I'm fascinated with the beauty I've found Asian BJD. I have one Ellowyne and one Prudence and they are a little flat and lifeless. However, in playing with these girls, it caused me to seek more. Soooooooo, I purchased a second hand, spray-painted mess of a girl with an Obitsu 60cm body and Gretel head that has been harshly customized. I'm currently attempting to refashion her into a wonderful large-scale wood nymph and enjoy playing with her.
I am an antique restoration artist and upholsterer. I enjoying playing with dolls and perhaps someday earn a living at making doll furniture. I really like the 1/3 scale as I can really play with romantic styles in furniture and clothing. This is all a dream and maybe, if I really become disciplined, I will realize that dream. But until then, I'm totally comfortable playing with dolls.
It is my hope to learn more about these wonderful creations and love more of them.
