Dollieh Sanctuary

Hi, I'm fairydustdreams. I'm very new to BJDs, but I have always loved all kinds of dolls and toys... and especially playing with them! I don't actually have any BJDs in my possession just yet, but I do have a Hujoo girl (24cm tall) on her way in the mail. She's made of ABS. I ordered her from overseas (something I've never done before) so I'm pretty nervous about it all (wondering if there will be customs fees, if I'll have to pick her up, general damage from delivery, etc.). I think it'll still take a really long time for her to get here, though, so I have plenty of time to worry . I think I'd love for my next doll to be resin and 1/4 scale, but I don't really have too many plans just yet. I'm really looking forward to trying my hand at making clothes/sewing for the dolliehs, and taking pretty pics of them!

Welcome! How exciting that you've got a Hujoo girl on the way. Isn't it so that Americans don't need to pay customs fees at all? I thought that was a European thing

And I don't know for sure if we pay customs fees or not; I tried looking up some things about it, but I couldn't really seem to find a lot when I looked, except to maybe to call your local customs office and find out... but I didn't really want to, it sort of made me nervous . Just goes to show how little I know about all that, though!
