Dollieh Sanctuary

Hi everyone! I'm from the sunny *Snerk* Northwest. Washington, USA and southwest BC, Canada. (I move seasonally) I used to be very into the Gothic Lolita fashion community in my teens, which is where I first saw a Dollfie. Beautiful little boys and girls dressed in their best. However all of my friends were specifically into Pullip (Which I consider a BJD in the same class as any solid frame doll without strings) I had always wanted a Dollfie or one of the more realistic sculpts, but was happy with my pretty big headed girl. I eventually got Papin, my second boyfriend in the hobby buying her for me because I was in love with her cute mohair wig and FRUITS fashion style. Many years later, I decided that Papin needed a new body. I didn't do it because it was cheaper, I made her a big girl because I Loved HER. She is now a 1/3 girl with an Fdoll 2 body. I really dont care that she's a hybrid, and it kind of makes me angry when people get uppity about her being somehow less of a doll because she's part Pullip, as well as not having cost me 500$+. This hobby is not about the price point for me, and I treat my doll like she was dearly expensive, because to me, she is the most beautiful little girl in the world.
She doesn't have a name yet, getting to know her since she's grown up has been a sweet journey. She's not my daughter, even though I shaped her into a charming young lady. She doesn't have a new name, But she's not Papin any more either. I've been calling her my sweet Sister because that's how I see her. She is shy and coquettish, quiet and dignified. She's not a woman yet and doesn't wear too much makeup, or sexy clothing. I considered getting her a bigger bust, but it would ruin her character for me.
I hope that my girl and I can find a home here, somewhere to share our journey of happiness with many many friends.
