Hello everyone!! My name is Mr. Kaffiend, or Ferret-kun as I have been known in the past, and I have been collecting BJDs for about as long as they've been popular in the states, I think... early 00's. I am twenty-one years old, a student at a community college, and working full-time as a line cook over the summer. :D I am hugely into anime and Japanese culture as a whole, with two full years of Japanese language under my belt, so I can read hiragana and katakana fluently, but my kanji is a little shaky... In my free time, I like to sew, draw, take pictures, start do-it-yourself projects. I'm a hands-on kind of lady! Enough about me, ya'll probably would rather meet my dollie fambly!

First up is Chorus, or Chichi, my first doll and a mute. He's a MiniFee Chiwoo from back when Luts and Fairyland were still one site! I got him in '06, I'm pretty sure.

When I ordered Chichi, I got the sleeping head along with him. I've been slowly modding him myself to give him a unique, sultry look. Last year I finally gave him a face-up, and soon I hope to find him an appropriate (non-MNF) body.

Next I acquired my beautiful Unoa L-bi around '07. His name is Elbert, but more commonly Elby. He's an airship pilot :D And likes wearing dresses.

D'you like his freckles?? I put those on c:

Finally, there's Enn, my only female doll, and the least effeminate of them all. xDD She's an airship mechanic and has a pitiful wardrobe of mostly fruffy dresses. >_> PANTS ARE HARD TO MAKE. Oh, also, she's a Blue Fairy Tommy with beauty-white skin and a blossom body, and I got her around '08, I think.

Most of my dolls' clothes are made by yours truly, and I think my skills are finally starting to improve. I hope to share some of my new endeavors in the crafty section, and I'll probably be spamming my beauties all over the place in no time!! So glad to be back in the BJD community, and on a forum once more!

P.S. Are the pictures too large?

Thank you, thank you!! :D I can't wait to share some of the crazy craftiness I've been up to lately. I turned a Ken (of Barbie & Ken) outfit into a working MSD top. xD I will post up some pics later. I wish I'd taken in-progress pics, but... if there's enough interest, I'll just go buy another one of those Ken outfits and do it over again!

T'anks for the warm welcome~ c:

Welcome, love your resin kids, and don't worry the photos are just fine size wise. :D

I'm always paranoid about my pictures being too large, but I hate to sacrifice the quality for the sake of space/slow connections... xD Doesn't everyone just have wicked fast internet now?! Just in case, I will make liberal use of the [IMG heavy] tag to warn away slow connections.

Hi welcome to the site to you and your dolls!

Don't worry about photo size- the forum has an automatic photo resizer that makes all photos fit, but allows people to click on the photo to view the full-size if they want to! You can tell if a photo has been resized as you'll see a little magnifying glass with a plus sign in the upper left corner :)

My avatar or my signature..?
I made my avatar in Paint XD. I love Paint's simplicity for certain things. I made my signature in Photoshop, but that was only because I needed the Layer blending effects thingy for the outline on the text bits.

Your... signature, yes. u_u I must have been half-asleep or something when I wrote that... xDD When I'm not working so much, I'm gonna have to pull up GIMP and play around with it c:
