Oooo, another dolly forum to invade! Mwa ha ha ha! I send the Death Bunnies upon you!

Whoopsy... You weren't supposed to know about that. Erm... Let's start over.

*Ahem*

-I am male
-I am 35 years old
-I was born in Kentucky
-I now live in Canada
-I have three pet bunnies. Yes, that's right. "Pets." They're pets. Honest. I'm not lying. Stop looking at me like that! *sob*
-I've been in the doll hobby for a little over a year
-My first arrived in Feb. 2011
I now have 7 dolls total.

Despite the fact that I've been a doll collector for a little over a year, I still feel like a newbie a lot of the time. I like forums and I browse, but I usually don't say something unless I have something of consequence to say.

Eventually, I will get around to filling out the profile information. For now, my collection is as follows:

Rhoskel Fox (Dream of Doll DOI Luke V2)
Jaze Bond (Dream of Doll DOT Camine)
Reuli Vayhama (Dollzone Mo Tan)
Darkwind (Doll Family-A Wind w/ elf ears) <--I was the first to get elf-version. There's a story behind that. :))
Beowulf Geat (Dream of Doll DOC Hoo)
Adell (Doll-Love Brain)
Inari (Camellia Dynasty Ling)

That's it. :)

*Wavies* Hi and welcome! I take it from your name you're a Slayers fan? Awesome show.

Oooo, lotsa DODs in your collection! I keep telling myself I need to get me a DOD, but somehow it never ends up that way, even though I love the sculpts. One of these days ...

And pet bunnies? Lucky you! I used to have pet bunnies, but it was years ago. They were mini lops and so soft and cuddly. I'd totally own another bunny, but I'm afraid my two cats would love it way too much for its continuing health. ^^;

Hiya and welcome! What kind of bunnies do you have? A doll friend of mine just brought home a pair of Flemish giants and they are so cute.

@Stormlight: I suppose you could say that I was a Slayers fan. I still have the laserdiscs from way back, though I haven't watched them in ages. I think I got them in 1996 or something? Anyway, it's been my online handle for ages, starting from when I moved to Japan in 1998 and I used it as my e-mail monkier. I always pick Zelgadis first when I have the chance. Barring that, I go with my backup, which is shuichiboy. (Shuichi is my middle name.) I had to do that with my deviantArt, unfortunately. http://shuichiboy.deviantart.com

As far as my DOD collection, yup, I've got three and I love them all. They stand well and pose well. I can get Rhoskel into all kinds of crazy poses. They tend to be strung rather tightly though and Rhoskel's arms, especially, never want to stay where I want them. I'm sure he'll loosen little by little. DOD seams tend to be a bit rough, so some people like to sand them a bit after they get them. Frankly, I don't even notice it, so it doesn't bug me at all.

Doll-Love is another company I would definitely buy from again. Adell is, by far, the best quality doll I've seen. The details are perfect. No seams. The resin is a sublime texture. Exceptionally poseable. Gorgeous butt. And the junk in the front is not tucked away and hidden. :D My only gripe is that his eyelashes fell off the minute I lifted him out of his box. Oi, Doll-Love, use better glue! :P

I like my DZ Mo, but I won't get a DZ again. He's got some issues that I need to fix. DF-A is good and my Darkwind is the only doll I have who can stand, unsupported, on one foot. DF-A kinda loused up his face, so I'm going to be modding that.

@AlmySidaKay: One of my bunnies is a Dwarf lynx. Another is an English Spot/Dutch Blue dwarf mix. My youngest is a mini-rex and he's completely nuts. :P But wow, Flemmish Giants... Your friend is going to have a pair of long-eared horses in his/her house before long. Those things are enormous. :P I have heard that they are the friendliest of all the bunny breeds, so that's definitely a bonus. I just don't have the space for one of those.

Heh. Then you may find this amusing. My future husband (our wedding is this Saturday) is from Japan. I had to explain to him recently when we were at the supermarket that it is physically impossible for me to say "sweet potato" in normal conversation. :P
