Newbie Over Here!

Newbie to both the board and the hobby, actually!
So, a couple of years ago I discovered BJDs on DeviantArt, and I thought they were really, incredibly, amazingly awesome. So I did a little bit of research and found out what they were - and how much they cost. At the time I was a poor high school student with no job and a $10 a week allowance for taking care of the dogs at home. So my desire was replaced by heartbreak. A couple of months ago, I fell in love with them again. And it became obsessive to the point where I realized that I am no longer a poor high school student with no job but a slightly less-poor college student with a part time job and money left over from my spending money for last semester. Just after Christmas, after spending countless hours online researching these awesome dolls, I made my purchase.
I ordered a DollZone Hid on December 27th. He just jumped out at me as being a character from this story I have in my head - that I really need to get written soon. But the wait is ALREADY killing me. A couple of days after ordering Hid - who is actually going to be named Rayne - I found Pullips. Well, the Taeyangs, actually. I think I have more of an obsession with boy dolls than girl dolls. Anyway, as soon as I found out how affordable they are, and that they can be bought from Amazon, I bought the Taeyang Cavalie, because he is another story character of mine. I don't think those dolls are quite as awesome as the resin dolls, but they're still really cool. And he will be here in less than two weeks. Maybe it will keep me sane.
So there's my story, now about me personally: My name is Nastasha. I'm 21 and a full time college student, though I'm between schools at the moment, transferring from community college to a four-year school. I am a total book nerd. I'm constantly reading, and I love to write. I like to play video games but I'm more of an extremely casual gamer - Skyrim is kicking my butt at the moment. I used to read a lot of manga and what a lot of anime, but not so much anymore. I still like it, I just haven't had the time for it.
I didn't realize I was getting so long winded, so maybe I should end this by saying that I look forward to spending time here!
