Hi, y'all. Mouse here. I'm a newbie. I was vaguely aware of the existence of some sort of doll culture related to anime fandom, but never really investigated it. Then I went to A-Kon this year with a friend ( who didn't really "get" anime & needed a native guide -- she understands it more now) & saw everyone's gorgeous dolls there. I told myself I didn't need another expensive hobby ( model horses, scrapbooking, collage art, anime, Steampunk.... the list goes on...) but I found myself drawn to it, little by little. Now I'm waiting on my first doll.
A little about me -- I've been a SF/Fantasy fan forever, was introduced to anime by my younger brother in the 80's ( still have old VHS fansubs...) and am working on my first novel. Live in a suburb of Oklahoma City -- we moved here from San Antonio in 2000 when Kelly AFB closed & husband's job moved up here. Am owned by 1 cat & 6 koi fish. Voracious reader. Can be found running around cons in Steampunk garb. Anything else subject to change.

It was luv at first sight. Had to be, dammit -- nothing else explains it. After the OOOO-SHINEY-MUST-HAZ eased up a bit I did some more research & found that there's a generally good opinion of the Goodreaus among those who are not wedded to the 'Asian resin is holy' idea. So I had to have her. She's on her way from North TX, which isn't far from here. Haven't told my husband yet.

A Goodreau! (can't see the link cos the auction has ended) But they are all cuties, we have several Goodreau fans here.

Try just doing a search for completed items only ( use the advance search). The item # is 290600237928. Might work better.
Yeah, Ebay sucks sometimes. I think I got a good deal, though, and a good seller.

Yay! Welcome. I haven't seen a goodreau vinyl here yet so she'll be an awesome addition. I always waver on the goodreaus when i see them on ebay.
