Hello! Intro post time...

I have always loved dolls ever since I was a little girl. First Barbie, then American Girl, then porcelain and then fashion dolls like Franklin Mint/Tonner as I got older. Believe it or not, I have just discovered BJDs.I think they are stunning which I know we all agree on! :D

I saw BJDs for the first time at the Anime Boston convention I went to with my husband. I am not particularly into anime, although I was when I was younger, so this whole BJD thing was like a revelation for me lol.

I have yet to pull the trigger and buy my first BJD. I'm on the fence between a ResinSoul Ya girl and AOD Qing. They are both so gorgeous, not that different in price...sigh. It is just a big first step to take I guess! So in the meantime I am here to learn all I can before I can't hold out any more and just have to buy one!

I also love to sew and knit and I am looking forward to doing it on a small scale.

Just happy to be here - I'll try not to be too n00bish! :)

I confess, a lot of forums (and not just BJD forums) can be intimidating...glad to know this one is so welcoming!

After almost a 1000 posts (gulp) I still consider myself a BJD n00b, yet I completely feel at home here! ;) After all it's not just BJDs here... it's all kinds of dolls. Well, pretty much, lol.

Welcome! And because I'm a shameless nut for BBB/RS, go with Ya! Can't wait to what you decide. :D

Hello and welcome! I always tell people to go with the doll that calls out to them the most - but that being said both your choices are really great for a first doll :) But whichever you choose, don't worry, you'll end up getting the other one after a very short time because, as we often say, BJD are like potato chips - you can't have just one! They like to have friends :)

Welcome to the board! Greyhaunt is right- you can never have just one. And they never follow your purchase plans.

When they find out you can knit and sew you can expect a clothing list. Have fun
