Hello! Intro post time...
I have always loved dolls ever since I was a little girl. First Barbie, then American Girl, then porcelain and then fashion dolls like Franklin Mint/Tonner as I got older. Believe it or not, I have just discovered BJDs.I think they are stunning which I know we all agree on!
I saw BJDs for the first time at the Anime Boston convention I went to with my husband. I am not particularly into anime, although I was when I was younger, so this whole BJD thing was like a revelation for me lol.
I have yet to pull the trigger and buy my first BJD. I'm on the fence between a ResinSoul Ya girl and AOD Qing. They are both so gorgeous, not that different in price...sigh. It is just a big first step to take I guess! So in the meantime I am here to learn all I can before I can't hold out any more and just have to buy one!
I also love to sew and knit and I am looking forward to doing it on a small scale.
Just happy to be here - I'll try not to be too n00bish!
