Hello, everyone!
I'm from a rather small town near Seattle, where no-one knows about BJDs...being able to talk to so many doll fans is overwhelming :D
I own one doll, a Bobobie Mei, whom I got as a Christmas present...everything I post is likely to be hand made. Having actual money for this hobby would just be too easy!

Welcome! I can't wait to see photos, I'm a huge BBB fan! Don't worry, we aren't actually that scary, honest! :P

Welcome to the board and don't worry - you'll find that a large number of BJD folks (and other doll folks too) are into the handmaking side of the hobby for their clothing and things. As noted, the dolls are often a major investment on their own so may as well pinch pennies where you can!

We'll look forward to seeing pictures of your doll!

I'm not worried :D It's a bit like walking into a new class, only to find that all your friends are there. I've never had the chance to talk to so many dollie folks before!

ahhaha, Welcome. That's also why I'm glad I joined this forum. Everyone is super nice. I only got into dolls recently and most of my friends looked at me sideways when I first told them. It is nice to have ppl to talk to about things you're obsessed about.

Dont feel bad, in NEPA, I just say BJD and people look at me like I've grown another head, except for my roomie, chiyoyama.
