Dollieh Sanctuary

Hi,

I'm new here, and to the world of doll collecting/modifying in general!

Modifying/customs are my main interest. I have one who started life as Ken and is currently being rerooted, a box of obitsu pieces and ordered my first proper BJD (a custom sculpt of Thranduil from The Hobbit, but I have to wait three months for him, oh well, Christmas present!)

I spend time when I'm not working on writing, drawing, crocheting toys, making things and generally wandering around in my own head.

I have a series of novels that I love and everyone else probably thinks are odd. I'm very talkative, so if anyone wants a chat, feel free to contact me!

As an intro, here's Teo:



Teo is a long suffering character of mine, who's on the run from the military in the novels. He's 27cm Obitsu and my first ever custom! That's why his hair looks so bad (it's brushed yarn).

Thanks! And good to know there's other people in the UK ... I sometimes feel like I'm the only adult in Britain who's still playing with dolls! XD

There's quite a few of us across the country I'm aware of two or three groups who meet up too (and as I'm not the most social person going, I suspect there's more than a few more!)

I think his hair looks good, and the faceup is excellent! The stubble is really well done, which is hard.
