Guten Tag from Germany ;)

Aloha, just wanted to briefly say hi before I go on stalking your beautiful dolly posts ;)
This forum was recommended by some lovely people from over at makies.me. My little Makie doll currently is my obsession, along with my (waaaay too many) Monster High dolls. I love these dolls for their poseability. I also love the BJDs for their looks, but am too "intimidated" and honestly also too cheap to dare the jump and buy one. (Would love knitting for them, though... my current obsessions include knitting too many clothes for my MH dolls and soon my Makie ;) )

Welcome!

I was wondering why your username looked familiar :)

The 1:6 scale Hujoos are a good introduction to BJDs - they're cheap as they're made of ABS and not resin, but they are strung with elastic, have ball joints etc. And don't look too out of place with Makies, either - they're a bit taller but have a similar head size to body ratio.

Thank you, guys :3

Jany, yes, I'm a girl ;) and thanks, nothing impressive about it ^^"(Just the soothing feeling of having pointy objects at the ready ]:-> (nah, I would never sacrifice my knitting just to use the needle on someone else...))
If you can knit socks and or even just a scarf, you can learn to knit for MH and Makies very fast! My first tries were anything but impressive ^^"

Gud'n Aaaaahmd! I read your name only yesterday over on Ravelry as we were discussing pattern for MH clothes. I've got MHs (6 by now and there was the day when I didn't like them) and my daughter, too.
If only I could remember where Samseramsamsam was from...

Ah yisssss, lovely ravelry... I will blame you, Aurinel, if I do not get my work done today because of the board there ;)

6 MH dolls - I admire your restraint! I'll have to let doubles go soon or start customizing for real... or at least cram them into a box to create the illusion of a clean apartment ]:->

I'm from the lovely Harz mountains (Harzhexe ;) ), or did you mean the name? I use it since friends taunted my with it at LARP (I had a demonic character and they used this derived from my real name to "conjure" me... funny at first, but you delevop an urge to kill if you hear SAM-SAM-SAMSERAM-SAMSERAMSAMSAM chanted often enough)
