Hello from NY!

Postby hyssop » Sun Dec 07, 2014 10:10 pm

Hi everyone! I am a relatively new doll collector (at least, as an adult!) and am also working on a dollhouse. I have three JP/Groove Ai Dolls, Hero (Leptospermum), Hild (English Ivy), and coming to me Tuesday is Hana (Leonotis). I have been working on clothes for them but sewing for such tiny girls is proving difficult!

My doll interests are really skewing towards the creepy/fantasy side of things. I'm thinking about a Blythe because I find their big round eyes kind of creepy and I'd love to play that up. I also love Doll Chateau's BJDs- right now I think Hilary is so sweet.

This forum has been so fun to lurk around and I'm excited to post!

Welcome! And don't worry, you'll get the hang of sewing for these little supermodels.
