WIP: a bed for Bailey

I picked up this beautiful little thing that's really supposed to hang on the wall outside of your house so you can put flowers in/on it... but I saw it and thought "BJD bed!!!!". It really just needs a mattress and voila..! Bailey, my Minifee Shushu, totally claimed it <3

Sorry for the bad pics, daylight is gone here. I'm also sorry for my cats interfering. They want to be involved in *everything* that's going on around the house. They both tried to claim the bed before Bailey could.

That is so freaking cute! Although, I have to admit that I was looking at the first photo and thinking, geeze, that thing is huge for a headboard.

I didn't realize I hadn't posted a progress pic yet. The bottom of the bed was sawn off by my dad so it would be able to stand alone, plus now it's at a better height for my dolls. I made a mattress and a felt blanket. She'll still get a pillow and a duvet though. Sorry for Bailey's blankness and nudity, I'm working on a new face-up and outfit as well.

I also added a little wooden heart from Xenos <3. I just pinned it with a ladybug shaped pin <3

Such a good idea! I would have never thought of something like that. Progress is looking good! The colors in the blanket really pop!


And on a side note, your kitties are gorgeous!! They seem to think it's a new napping area for them too.

Thanks guys! ^^ Yeah, the cats try to get into the bed all the time if I don't put it in my hobby room, hehe. And thanks, they're now a year and two months old, but they still look like tiny baby kittens to me, LOL!
