First I started a search on the internet for pricable nice red mohair. I figured it should be something like the mohair yarn I had laying on my desk... Then it struck me... if this was a project doll I should try and make a wig myself with the mohair I had which was in the right color already!
SO, I did

step one: cutting off the toes of a nylon sock twice the size of the head of the hujoo. Cutting off bits of yarn (mohair) 44 cm in length to pull trough half way, make a knot then bull back at 5 mm distance from where it went in. Making 2 rows slightly to the right of the middle of the sock.

Then making the same 2 rows on the other side. Here 1/3 done.

All done! 2 sides and in the middle of those two I made more treads which go criss cross over the top to hide the sock from sight. And in front made some additional for the same purpose with some short ones to give her some stray hairs

Inside of the wigcap/sock 3 rows of knots. and the extra length of the sock (remember I cut off twise the size of the head) goes over the knots to protect them so they wont catch on to the headcap of the hujoo. The wigcap is rather smooth but just to be sure...

Hujoo with wig. Now I need to braid the two sides but its really thick so I have to think up a way to thin it out a bit without having the two sides give out lose hairs and maybe destroying the wig all together.
I'm very pleased at how the wig turned out

EDIT: Oh and I orderd some green eyes and red sneakers for her as well already. Sadly they will take some 2 weeks of getting here. But I can just work on her outfit and glasses in the meen time
