Dollieh Sanctuary

Hey guys, long time no post! I've been caught up in this whole moving from Iowa to Vermont to get my MFA in COMICS thing.
I only have a couple of my dolliehs with meh for company (Though I'm now regretting not bring a blank or two and my materials along...), everyone else is still at my parent's house in Iowa.
Like this guy!

I was going to enter this lil dude into the Legends Tutorials Forums' "Masquerade OOAK" contest...
Buuuuut LIFE happened (Moving, school) and I was completely blocked coming up with a name or backstory for him...
So in short you could say I chickened out!

Here he is, I've been sitting on these pics since September because I thought I'd actually enter him. ^^;

















I need to practice designing backgrounds more, I think this one in retrospect is a bit of a visual clusterfuck.
But it was hella fun collecting the materials and putting it together.

Anyways, what do you all think? Do you think I would have stood a chance if I had entered him?

Maywong: Thank you! I was never able to come up with a name or background for him, but I am still thinking about it. Originally he was going to have a black bear familiar, but Firebird Arts failed me epically and never shipped him so I canceled the order. :U

Dark Angel: Thank you! It was super fun to put together! I'm definitely going to do more doll pics with backgrounds like that when I get home for winter break!

He looks great! I love his face and costume. I think you would have stood a good chance in the contest, your work is lovely.
