Did your bow ever come off? D: The bow on the left foot came off of mine. I was surprised that it was attached with glue!

Oh! No, so far they didn't fall off! *knocks on wood* Good to know though, I'll be extra careful with them now..

Just like in the big-time people world, resist the urge to buy the "cute shoes" and opt instead for the shoes that fit right. And by fit right I mean shoes of the proper length (width is almost always not an issue). When you go shopping for shoes, look for ones with a listed inner length of about 6.1cm to about 6.5cm. Obitsu 48/50cm dolls have feet that are 6cm long and shoes in this range will fit fairly well and not have a serious negative impact on how well you girl stands. The magnets in her feet are almost totally negated by a pair of shoes so shoes that fit snugly are important. Don't fall for the "MSD size" trap. All MSD sized shoes are not the same length. If they don't list an inner length, don't get them, unless you are able to verify they will fit. Otherwise you'll have a drawer full of shoes that you never use because they look good but don't fit.

Thanks for the advice, it's really helpful!

I honestly thought the ones I got her wouldn't be horribly huge. :x But they turned out to be. They're thin enough in the soles that her magnets aren't totally useless, thank goodness, even with her socks on! My search fro appropriate shoes continues!

I have those shoes in the YO-sized range. I actually took the bows off on purpose and it was annoyingly difficult, so I'm surprised Aine's came off so easily.

These are my favorite shoes for the fashion conscious school girl.

http://eluts.com/shop/step1.php?number=1117

They come in a bunch of colors (when in stock) and fit the 48/50cm Obitsu perfectly. Yeah, they're a bit pricy but If your girl is in them 90% of the time, they're absolutely worth it.

Oh, and Luts is currently having a shoe sale, $22.40 (regularly $28). Damn, I just bought three pair last month at regular price.

Ooooh, those are lovely! Damnit, there was just a LUTS group order on the forum, too bad I missed it. P:

I really like some of those heels. K2, should I invest in the heel feet that they make for the 48/50cm body, or do heels look just fine on the regular feet? Does it depend on the shoe?

Oh the humanity! Money, it tries to escape my wallet. ;_;

I wouldn't invest in heel feet unless you want high heels with an open toe or saddles and have your heart set on seeing all the toes in the right place (good luck with that by the way). If you stick with the 6.3cm to 6.5cm (ish) inner length, the flat feet look fine in high heels, especially the new ankle joints (which you should have on your 48cm).

Get used to it. They will own you.

I can recommend these. They are very snug.

And Kiki-chan has a pair of white pumps for her 40cm Yukiko. I don't remember where she said she got them...
