WIP: Tengu....ten who? New pics 1/17 pg 2 + a DZ head

I'm trying a tengu mod on a Fdoll mini. I don't remember which head this is. He's been here quite a while. He's only partially painted. I haven't decided what color or colors to fill in the brows with. He also needs something in the middle of his forehead.

hmmmm...I have no idea which character this is, but I like the beak! is the beak sculpted, or fabric, foam?

Leopardessmoon, a tengu is a Japanese mythological creature. There's the crow type that I'm making and a human type with a really long nose. They have been shown as trouble makers, fallen monks, teachers, or protectors.

The beak is sculpted out of paper clay. The face-up is influenced by Chinese opera make-up/masks. Some of the masks include buddhist symbols on the forehead. This fellow is a magic user so I'm looking for something like that but not necessarily buddhist.

this reminds me of some crazy saturday morning cartoon drama that came on when I was little back in the late 70's. some strange bird people that did something weird. it gave me nightmares. I hope this is a better ending, BUT, he looks good so far...can't wait to see more...

His clothes arrived. I was hoping it would help me with some face-up decisions. Only the jacket is a blueish grey. I'm not sure if I like it with the very blue beak. I was already debating something to tone it down a bit. The wig is not his but I definitely want a fir wig. It's raining so no daylight pics.

A new wig. It's red with black tips. I'm liking the way it balances out the intense blue beak. It even makes the haori's color look better. I also got some eyes but i'm not sure which I like better. I put one of each in and took some pics.
