I need to know if it is this color or a true red? I am planning to make a teenage Rini (Mini Moon) and a true red would clash with her pink hair.

I think it is a true red. I don't have it, but it comes up as true red on my color-corrected and ridiculously expensive monitor that my husband used to use for his art work.
