I'm a (fairly) recent convert, but good heavens that site is addicting. TVTropes is the only place I've found that is worse.

Confession- when I finally tried it, I quit mentally making fun of all the 'ooh, it's addictive' warnings. ^_^ So do you spend more time 'scrapbooking' neat things, finding things you want to try, ?

Interesting question! I often pin things simply because I like them, but also like the information. I've put the most time into pinning sewing/knitting patterns and techniques, as I love to sew for my dolls and am an ardent knitter. I'm not very good with words, never knowing what to say - - but on Pinterest, you don't have to say anything. :D

^ true. I always feel awkward making anything but trivial comments, especially in a setting with so many unfamiliar people!
One of the reasons I greatly prefer Pinterest to FB- people just don't put the energy into offending and being offended that they do on Facebook.
