I thought I'd start a different thread for those of us wanting a resin-perfect figure. LOLOL... oh yes, check out my sculpted alabaster abs! (they're under there somewhere). I may not get a Dollzone waist but I can still work towards a healthier physique.
That being said, I'm almost two weeks in my P90x routine. I'd dropped 6 pounds the first week so I'll see how I'm doing on the 13th when I weigh next. Sunday is scale-day. I might weigh the same or even 2 pounds lower; anything is better than nothing.
Anyone else doing a New Years health routine? Maybe if I have to post my results I'll be more willing to work hard, I hate having bad reports. I should do a before-after picture. That would be fun!

I've been walking at least once every other day for the past few weeks, but since I have a nasty head cold I've had to give it up for a bit
Don't know how much I weigh, because, well, I'm a BIG GIRL and I don't own a scale. I go by how my pants fit and as of right now, some tight ones are a bit looser, so that's good

Its gonna be a slow process for me to get that toned Obitsu arms look. I have pretty much hit my plateau whether I like it or not. The most I can do is watch my diet, Walk whenever possible (thats why I love my walking shoots). Its not helpful that I'm short as well as big boned... >_<
Gotta continue that that rolled oats for at least one meal thing though. And keep lifting that Iplehouse Superhero size bjd for stamina sake.

I haven't started any exercise yet (although I bought a resistance band and hand weights last week), but yes, I want to get started, also. Motivation is my biggest problem. I need to make it a habit otherwise, I "forget" to walk or do exercise all too easily.

BJD Figure!
Ooh, I love that phrase. I'm going to use that now instead of 'photoshop bodies' now.
I have started exercising lately, but I don't actually think I'll ever slim down much. For me enjoying food>awesome figure.
I was a little shocked when I tried exercising after a long time and found doing just 1/3 of what I normally do wiped me out completely so... I'm trying to regain my fitness level.

I don't know about a BJD figure-but I do want to be healthier. I don't walk well, so I chair march. My goal is 5 miles per day-I am working my way up to 18 miles a day-that is how far a Hobbit can walk.
http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2012/07/23/walking/I find that baby steps work best for me. Drink my water, eat my veggies, move my body. I put my pedometer on as soon as I am dressed each day. I keep hand weights near the places I tend to be. Making exercise convenient has been the key for me. I have a MP3 player devoted to workout music.

I walk two 15 minute miles every other day...just started back up. I have another nasty case of bronchitis so I'm really not all that motivated. At all. I think I'll start going back to the cemetery over my lunch hour. I can walk there undisturbed since there aren't too many people there visiting.

Hubs and I actually have been going to a Personal Trainer gym class for awhile now. Our Trainer started up a 90 day contest to see who progresses the most; I signed up simply to kick my butt in gear towards not eating the amount of carbs I do (I'm Italian and I LOOOOOOOVE my bread and pasta). I don't weigh myself though 'cause it leads me to freaking out over numbers that don't really mean much. Hubs has lost lots of weight and can lift over 200 lbs now
Just remember guys, it's the carbs and sugars that are really bad for you. Fats and proteins are fine. Slow-carbs like beans are good for you though.

This is actually an amazing thread idea! I've actually recently started going to the gym with the new boyfriend. I'm enjoying the elliptical! But then again a love of walking previously helped. I also have been making sure that I'm eating more healthy than I used to.
