I was just curious... Do we have any traditional painters on the board? Acrylic painters-- I should specify. I make it a daily routie to paint twice a day because I love it. Anyway,

I've also found a really awesome low cost online workshop for a loose and free style of painting -- but I didn't want to share it unless there are people on here who might actually want the information. :3

So I was just seeing if anyone would be interested. ^__^ I like sharing with mah peeps.

I don't much anymore, but I used to paint a little. I keep meaning to buy some canvas and try my hand at it again, but I was never very good at canvas painting to begin with.

My secondary degree in college was in applied studio arts with a concentration in painting so...yup! I'm a traditional painter :D And I actully prefer acrylic to oil 90% of the time. I'm doing a lot more painting digitally these days, but I do still bust out a canvas and paints occassionally.

I'm also a pseudo-professional painter. :) It's my college major. I prefer oils more often than acrylics, though. You'd be surprised what techniques for both are interchangeable, though!

I have a degree in fine art, did oils and print making, never really touched acrylics until the dolls. I haven't done oils or a canvas since the big painting of Chris, has 3 heads and a blue background, but it feels so different from painting on something stiff. I still use acrylics just for the toys and water color or oils for me. http://s170.photobucket.com/albums/u270 ... ?start=all and http://dollykim.deviantart.com/

I took a class while in a fine arts college. I was so bad that my teacher gave me a B for most improvement. :p
