Hi Min'nasama!!!!!!
I have a totally 'un-doll' question for you all today!!!!! Hopefully, we have some avid berry or tree enthusiasts here who can answer my question!! ^^
My father brought in a small piece from a tree we have, to ask me to identify it. 0_o
I'm not really an outdoorsy person and don't know much about berries, aside from strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, cranberries, so I put the query to you!!! My first thought was perhaps....elderberries? But....the stems aren't quite right....
It has thousands and thousands of dark purple berries on it, approx 1/2" diameter each. The green leaves are approx. 1.5" to 2" long each, with a teardrop shape and wrinkly edges. ^^;; The berries are attached to the stems on what appears like a 'bell shaped' cone attachment.
Here are some photos:
Can anyone identify these guys?
Thanks for your help in advance!!!!!
