hahahaha no, the other forums don't do anything like that - it's just a sort of on-running joke in BJD fandom that all male dolls seem to be gay. Female dolls, on the other hand, are generally straight - which kind of sucks for them given the lack of males hahahahaha. The manifesto isn't really meant to be a direct hit on any other forum, so much as a general debunking of BJD stereotypes

MY male dolls are all very much straight, thank you. Hmm. Nameless Model seems to be spending a lot of time staring at Aedan, and he back...looks like my last unpaired straight boy is picking his own girl. Damn, now I have to give her a name and a personality.

lmao Ok, I wasn't sure because it DOES seem like there's more gay boys than there are straight anything
I couldn't tell if it was like some unspoken rule or not.

My boys are all straight!
Well, except maybe for Journey. He's just a little crooked.
And my youngest guys, of course, who have yet to leave the "EW girls have COOTIES" stage. XD

lol our dolls tell us who they are, even if they take their sweet time about it.
I mostly see it in fandoms with the whole pairing thing. Everyone seems to turn characters gay whether or not they actually are in canon. I mean, I don't have a problem with this, it's just what I notice.

hahaha, well, I do have a gay boy doll (two because I bought him a boyfriend), but he was gay when I bought him...yea, I know that sounds wierd, but he belonged to someone else in the Jspot forum and I liked the character she'd started with him, so when she sold him I bought him and kept the personality (although I changed his name). The rest of my guys are pretty much straight and one is downright homophobic! Oh, wait, I do have one other gay couple...forget about them becuase one of them still has no faceup.
On the other hand, I have one of the rare lesbian doll couples! I felt it was only fair. So that's what, 6 gay dolls out of 50? Definitely a small proportion hahahahaha

Everyone in my house guessed it before he even got here that Riven was gay..I told them he was straight but wears girls clothes....Yeah he didn't stay that way for long.
