Ok, I'm sure many of you were fortunate enough to have missed our latest negative member. I want to let everyone know that we mods had our eye on this person essentially from day one, but he walked on the fine line of the rules and didn't give us an excuse to ban him. Today, however, the multiple complaints received about him, plus his consistant beligerant behavior was enough to allow us to take this step. Theodoric is gone both of his own free will, and permanently by ours.

My apology is for the fact that we had to let him misbehave before removing him. Every post of his that hurt a member with it's tone or content hurt me to see, but unless I and the other mods, want to act like dictators we have to respect our own rules as well. I'm so sorry to anyone who was offended or angered or hurt by his behavior.

On that note though - PLEASE, let me stress that you - every one of you - have the right to let myself or any of the mods know if you feel there is a potential or real problem with a post or person. The faster we can document difficulties then the faster we can take action to protect each of you and the forum from pervs and trolls (or pervy trolls). You should never feel that you are being a problem, making waves, causting trouble, etc... This forum belongs to all the members, and as I always say, my job is to make sure it's a safe and fun place all of us to hang out. While I like to think my judgement of people is good, it helps myself and the other mods to make a decision about people like Theodoric, if we know that their behavior is disturbing to others as well. We may still have to wait a bit to act, but at least we will have the knowledge that it's not "just us" with the bad feeling.

Anyway, didn't mean to make this so long, I just wanted to continue with our policy of openness to let everyone know what has been done.

Again, I apologise to those who had threads hijacked or locked because of this, but let us all look on the bright side - at least he didnt' send everyone in the forum a flouncy PM on his way out

And yeah....JUST MY SPIDEY SENSE TINGLING but I have the feeling the late troll was looking for something besides trouble and began causing trouble when he didn't get what he was looking for. Did he EVER post pics of acceptable dolls that were actually his? Anyone?

When he started posting waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much info about Furries and pics of furries I didn't want to see, I could help but be creep-ed out.

Ah, Yeah I felt weird about him but I try to be courteous to ppl who weird me out anyway because I know sometimes ppl don't realize how they come accross to others. On forums and such written words can be misinterpreted without a vocal tone but he did creep me out. Not sure how he managed it, but i just stepped carefully around him. It was kind of nice having an iple on the forum but still.

EDIT: I think i missed a lot of stuff he was posting lol...but he mainly creeped me out in the beginning when he first joined.

Darn it...I always miss the good stuff.

I was just like you, Landwhale...I give a lot of leeway and try to kill with kindness. That is until he crossed the line insinuating stuff regarding my son.

All I can say is thanks. I feel a lot more comfy with that person not here.

OMG he definitely had to know more about everything than everyone - annoying.

And VV, ONCE he posted a photo of his iplehouse doll...one once he pm'd me a pic of his doll "hugging" him... blah (no, it wasn't pervy in and of itself, but if you knew enough about him.....).

*comes out from cave* Is it safe now to actually be relieved? I've been avoiding too many threads and only caught up with the crazy. I was tempted to just troll the hell out of him, but I love everyone else too much to do so.

Though at least it wasn't DemonKitten01 level of crazy...

I try to avoid DramaBrats and Trolls as much as possible. *sigh* Our local group keeps seeing way to many of them.

But I do appreciate being made aware of them so not only do I know to look out for them, but it helps me to notice others earlier.
