Augusta, GA.... hasn't happened in 20 years. We have a palm in our front yard for crying out loud!

We got snow over here, too (and lots of it)! It's actively falling as I type this.

Meantime, it's raining in Kenai, Alaska. I think El Nino and El Nina are in a battle to the death and we are all caught in the middle of their rage! ( I hope you have your bread and milk, Kirahfaye!)

This was my yard just after 4 this afternoon.

My road is also currently under several inches of ice and snow. Already let the boss know I won't be in until at least Monday, which he's thankful cool with. I'm the only one at the store who doesn't live within the city limits, so he knows that if it snows, my road is never clear.

That looks like bread making weather to me :)

The most snow I was ever in stuck to the grass but not the sidewalk and streets. It's tried a couple of times since we moved here.

edit- Incase it becomes necessary due to weather, power outages, camping, or lunch boxes here's a list of foods that don't require refrigeration or cooking-

Hormel Completes entrees
Dinty Moore beef stew has pop tops, some is packaged like the Completes in plastic
Ben’s Ready Rice
Walmart instant/dry/powdered milk in the multipack box, each packet makes 1 quart at a time
Bruinswick and Bumblebee tuna and chicken salad kits
assorted tuna and chicken salad in pouches
Campbells and Progresso ready to eat soups have pop top lids
microwavable soups with plastic lids have pop tops and are ready to eat
many chili cans have pop top lids
snack pudding cups, jello, and fruit sold on shelves
some canned meats like Spam and copy cats have pop tops or “sardine can” openers
look for chicken ala king in the canned meat section, it’s basically cream of chicken soup with bell peppers
Underwood Deviled Ham (paper wrapped) comes in a pop top
Libby’s has single serve vegetable sides
fruit cups in single servings

You forgot actual sardines, tuna "steaks", tuna in pouches and pop tops and regular cans, eel if you are feeling fancy--and of course crackers, which you can eat all those fishy things on.

There's also peanut butter and deviled chicken to eat on those crackers. And god help us, Spray Cheez.

Bring some snow in to a bathtub or shower for kitty to experience.

I love the look of utter disdain of kitty not getting their way. XD
