I used to live in Joplin. But now I'm about 3 hours from there in Wichita.

I spent 5 or 6 summers in KCMO.

Lame. I got a friend who lives in Joplin right now. Doesn't Wichita have a White Castle?

K2: How'd you like it in KCMO? I haven't been there too much, mostly been around the St. Louis area as it's closer to us.

Not anymore, which is funny since this is where White Castle originated. And I was just back visiting a friend of mine who still lives in Joplin a few months ago.

KC was nice. The parts I was in were amazingly clean for a major metropolitan area. Like any big city there are places to stay away from but the Plaza is very cool, as was Swope Park and the zoo. The weather can be warm and humid in the summer. Don't know about the Fall/Winters, I was only there from June through August. Lots of great barbecue.

I dated a guy from Missouri when I was a teenager... but that's as close I've I've ever come to living there!!

As you know (since you directed me to this place and everything. ), I'm close to Columbia. lol

I live about 45-55 miles north of Tarkio, Missouri....

I'm about 3 hours away from Kansas City MO..
