Any quilters on the board

Just curious if anyone else here likes to cut fabric apart and put it back together?

I haven't in years due to a lack of workspace, but I do remember how (and keep intending to make doll-sized ones someday).

My mother quilts, and it is something I would like to do someday, though more likely for dolls than for me.

I've made a couple of quilts for myself and a couple of postage stamp ones for the dolls. I'd make a doll sized version of one of them if the prints were doll sized.

The first one I really finished and used is hexagons. I had a bunch of outer space themed fabric, threw in some swirls in matching colors to be nebulas, and put them together with an astronaut in the middle.

I WAS making one for the dolls, but then my cat literally ate it.
