2016 Resolutions

Let's share Resolutions!

As soon as I get through this latest round of sinisitus :x I will be joining my husband at the gym. We started to cut down on carbs, sugars, sweeteners, fat and calories, and added more lean proteins, fruits and veggies back at beginning of November. I'm trying to swear off my favorite food - chocolate - but that's so hard.....

I also want to start writing again. I have an entire novel in my head for my husband and my OCs from back when we meet in an online game. I need to decide if I want to just do a series of short, casual stories or jump into a larger production. I should get it down on my pc because I know there are at least a couple really good scenarios I've forgotten.

- Replace the two damage bookshelves and convert the upper levels into 1/6 doll space
- Buy glove hands for Helen now that Iplehouse change out the default hands to be open fingers instead of stuck together.
- Get some clothes for Jack granted he rather wait till Megu-Chun get a replacement body first.
- Get Megu-Chun's replacement body, She thinks she can hold herself together on replacement parts until either after I get the bookshelves or PC
- Rebody the Gretels to the bodies I bought last year..... What?! Darn neck screws were tight!
- Buy a PC(eventually) so that I can play Street Fighter V
- Make up my mind if I want a PS4
- Make up my mind if I need a new camera
- Maintain or loose some weight.
- Bring in the Shepherdess aka 1/6 Amazon eventually(I have 2 slots for 1/6ers unless Helen wants replicate herself into 1/4 territory. Are Pukishas 1/4? I don't mind Dear Mine or Pipos or even a Soom), since last year's plans got hijack by a vacation
- Save up for a trip back to Japan

The short list:
- Get in better shape (or at least start the process)
- Make at least 4 simple outfits (1 for each doll)
- Get the shelves put up finally so I can display my dolls
- Learn to chill
- No impulse doll purchases

To simultaneously cut down on and cull the impulse purchases in my doll (using the term very loosely here to include action figures and the lego that mysteriously appeared whilst I was at uni!) collection so I can focus on the ones that actually matter (for the most part this refers to 1/6ers and under, though there are floating heads that are on the receiving end of the Evil Eye), my action figures are sadly neglected for fear of loosing parts and the bjds have been box dwelling for far too long! This may also have the side benefit of freeing up some cash for action figures and bjds

Oh and to actually start selling the results of one of my other hobbies, mask making and customising. Gods know I've enough of them to start up an Etsy shop, which was the intention several months ago when the initial mask spurred on comments that I should make more/sell them

I started doing that too! I just have to get my husband to help because I tend to go overboard sometimes ^^;;

I'm trying to walk once a day, to prevent weight-related health problems from coming back. I lost a lot of weight a couple years ago, and it's been creeping back up these few months. I'm pretty upset about it. I gave up a lot to lose that weight, I shouldn't get it back.

I'm trying to be more crafty again, sewing and being creative more often. My dollies will definitely benefit from this, as will my blog. My biggest challenge will be drawing again. I'm doing a good job getting sewing done already, and need to keep it up.

The short list:

Eat more healthily (basically fewer carbs, more protein, zero juice - after 30 odd of years of dancing between not diabetic and pre diabetic I got diagnosed with type 2 last year)
Finally open Etsy store
Do more photo stories and photo shoots
Generally be more creative
