Anyone else here play Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Games like World of Warcraft or Star Wars: the old Republic? I played WoW for many years. I just play SWTOR now. I have the most fun roleplaying with other imaginative people, and I figured since dolly-people are so imaginative, surely some must play MMOs too, right?

In finnish BJD-genre playing MMOs is quite typical hobby. ^^
I myself have been playing WoW since start of Burning Crusade (no surprise to anyone), and nowadays my MMO of choise is Guild Wars2 (as it doesn't have monthly payments, and yes, I still miss playing WoW). I have tried my hand also on TERA and LotRO, but they didn't stick.

Oooh, Guild Wars 2 has pretty graphics! I have it, but don't play it. Too busy with Star Wars, lol! And I love your little WoW adventures in your dolly blog!

My husband and I have wandered from MMO to MMO since we left SWG long ago and far away without finding a new gaming home. The last one we tried was GW2, which we go back to once in a while. I guess we were spoiled by the early and (as yet) unmatched innovations of Galaxies' pre-NGE interplay that allowed us to be low combat "entertainers" and still participate in the storyline. We met and eventually lost touch with a number of really great people in that game, though we still are friends with a handful. My username is actually the same as my character's in SWG, btw.
And along the doll/MMO discussion, this past year I started creating both my and my husband's SWG characters in resin. Roho is an Iplehouse Owen and Kirah is a MNF Lishe. They are still a work in progress.

I used to play WoW with competitive fervor. Life got too busy and I dropped it. Well, that and my computer is now out of date and needs new components to even run the latest update. Ha! That said I still pay for the blasted game.

I played wow from vanilla to cataclysm...can say I was alone for mahority of cataclysm since everyone else that liked challenge moved on when they made the game too easy. I forced myself to stay but lost the love I had for that game =(
I have played tons of other mmo's Aion was nice in the earlier days and is till okay but the community went downhill when it went f2p. I still love how much detail for character customization they had as well as the nice outfit styles.
Star wars was okay but it was and still is super buggy like it was in beta =( Pefect world, forsaken world and tera were ok but I didn't like the control system setups. I did like DC online but after a few months there was nothing new outside of expansion packs to buy. The controls were weird as well as your character looking weird when trying to take screen shots =(
As far as what I currently play is GW2 (Jade Quarry since I started). I normally play "invisible" most nights since I get random invites from people I don't know and they don't even say hi or anything XD

I hear ya. I played DK and basically I could just mash the same three buttons and kill 15 mobs at once without even breaking a sweat. I switched to PVP cause that offered more challenge. For quests and such though? I got tired of the mindless grinding. Dungeons weren't fun for me either. I hated tanking cause I didn't know the dungeons well enough to lead.
Has anyone played the new Final Fantasy, Realm Reborn? I liked it well enough. Not as much grinding. I just couldn't see maintaining two MMO games at the time so I quit playing. The character design was really cool.

I tried out the FF mmo can say as a non asian player there was a lot of anger over us "gaijin" being on their games. Was called several other things but tbh it wasn't a great bonding time with japanese players. Game looked okay but just wasn't my kind of toxic community for being a foreigner and all lol.

One of the ladies in our local doll group has been playing FFRR and she seems to love it. She hasn't mentioned any negative reactions and she'd be pretty vocal if she got any. Too bad you experienced that, it can make a fun game into something that you never want to try again.

I was on a western server so it wasn't an issue for me.
