...Taken on it's own merits and not as part of a series I still kinda think The Crow: Wicked Prayer is good fun ¬.¬ I know it's widely regarded as a terrible film but I just can't see it myself... Now Birdemic or Bear on the other hand...

There are different levels of bad, some are wonderful, some should hang their heads in shame. Scheissenbedauern is all in the eye of the bummed out.

Is here a word for a movie that was better than you thought it would be? Not the best movie in the world just a good enough or better than it should be movie.

Much like the one bellow in the link. the biggest problem I am finding is figuring out size. I'm a big girl and short. What the heck do I do? What size do I get? How much should this thing run? Thanks for your help everyone!!

half way considering taking courses at the technical college in some sort of wild life resource management or historical interpretation or such. I have no idea what I want to do.

If you can sew... you can make gored skirts. They are very easy to make, same concept for 11 cm all the way to people size. Measure the waist, figure out how full you want the skirt at the bottom (whether that bottom is thigh length or floor), divide by the number of panels you want, add some extra for seam allowance, figure out the length and instant pattern. You just cut trapezoid panels and sew them together. I've made mini-skirts, renn garb skirts, petticoats (to go over a hoop skirt) and cosplay gowns this way. Also used this to make any number of doll skirts. ^__^

Here's a website that makes it more complicated, but has good pictures: http://www.tudorlinks.com/treasury/free ... skirt.html

Happy sewing! We must get the same coupons... I'm working on my cosplay for DollAKon this weekend. ^__^

A friend of mine helped me figure out the 10 yard pattern for a peasant skirt/belly dancing skirt. I'll use your panel pattern for the ultra suede that I have. I have done the same thing with gored skirts for the dolls myself, although I'm weird. I LOVE peasant skirts. 18 yards of muslin, 6 yards of one color/pattern cotton and another 6 yards of one color/pattern cotton and I'm pretty sure I can get at the very least two skirts that way and I can get another skirt from the ultra suede/funky, shimmery I have no idea what the material it is...fake satin (but sheer). That will be a third skirt and very very full because I think I have 9 yards of ultra suede and the shimmery stuff is another 6 yards. I sort of went crazy with coupons last year. I guess the dolls are going to have to wait on THEIR clothes. lol!

Have fun sewing for DollAKon. :) :) :) I'm going to start on one of the skirts tonight. I'll have to find my iron, though. LOL!

I'm jealous about DollAKon man, I wanted to meet you guys. Life events keep getting in the way of Cons. I'm going to have to miss DragonCon this year, too. Will be at my brother in law's wedding that weekend so it's definitely not something I can skip out on. It's one of those awkward mid-day weddings, those are the worst. Too early to be formal, too late to fit a normal eating schedule. /sigh.

I did attempt to sew something tonight, I made Ina a cute little skirt. I'll post a pic eventually.

I want a ten yard skirt... we make alot of skirts here but mostly simple a-lines since you don't need alot of fabric, and fabric is sometimes hard to get here.
