I wish I could have stayed home today. Migraine hit last night. I really don't like taking the Imitrex even if it makes me "functional". The pain is manageable and most of the migraine crap(auras ect) are under control enough for me to be at work but I feel incredibly heavy if that makes sense and I feel like I'm typing while wearing gloves. Also my speech sensor has gone to shit. I actually said "yo" at a coworker. I just want to go to bed.

*sigh* Ian (the oldest boy) was helping me arrange boxes in the storage room and the basement hallway. He didn't quite throw a box to me but I was turned in an odd way and almost dropped it. He thought I had a good grip on the box and didn't. I pulled all the muscles in my back and it feels like I bruised the muscles under my right arm along the ribcage. *sigh* Now I can't remember why I was even attempting to move those boxes.

Had a customer go off on me today on the phone. Bad cell connection (a LOT of static) and everything he was telling me sounded alike. I had to stop him, with an apology and ask he spell phonetically. S as in Sam? F as in Frank? L as in Love? (Yes, I know. Not even CLOSE to the military phonetic alphabet but I *am* talking to the general public so most of the time, it doesn't matter.) He called me the token gimp. *shrugs* I passed the call along to my supervisor and he then verbally abused HER for hiring ME for the phones. I may have to order my own headset. I tried the digital one and all I hear through that is background noises in the office, not the person calling me. *sigh*

I'm stuck working alone in the costume shop while everyone is on spring break at the university. It's so lonely here. I'm afraid I am going to hurt myself and no one will find me...
I just have to get the labels into the hats I made then redrape a watteau back for a dress today, thankfully.
Tomorrow I have to adjust my other patterns and cut out some lining.

I'm also trying to answer all my emails and whatever... Setting up a phone interview with a grad school... I hate talking on phones.. like a lot. It's going to make doing this a bit of a challenge. I just got to do it.

Also, I got a text from home saying one of the cats had gone missing. After 45 minutes of looking she was found sleeping inside of the armoire. So we freaked out for nothing.....

They'll do that as much and as long as they can. It's happened to me before too. You just have to keep bothering them until they do their jobs.

I am trying to be careful when doing anything that might get me hurt. It's really just a matter of staying focused. I do better when there are people around to talk to.. because I tend to pay more attention to what I am doing.

I'm so paranoid anytime I have to work in a situation like that. It makes me jumpy. One time I was alone in the sculpture studio at night and was jumpy I dropped the jigsaw. Thank god I always wore proper work boots. I blast music or a show to make it feel less alone.
