Sorry if the photos are not clear. ^^' So, today I made a mannequin for Sayuri's new dress. It's not perfect and I didn't have the right materials but I think it turned out rather well.

I have resized this pattern from 1/3 (SD) to 1/12 for Cordie and plan to attempt to make it tomorrow. I am using fabrics in black and white and black lace. Wish me luck!

@PerlaNemesis is that packing tape? There could be doll making possibilities in that...

Yes, it's a normal, transparent tape on foil for frying. Normally paper insulation tape is used on thin nutritional foil but I didn't have these at home. Difference is what if normal tape is used, you have to use more of it. Also, celophane can be used instead of foil but more tape is required then. I can make a short tutorial tomorrow as I'm going to use the same method for Sayuri's wig cap.

Wow, Richilia. That looks like it will be pretty fiddly to make in such a small size, but will look great on Cordie if you pull it off. Good luck!

My mom has plans for an anime con we're going to (FREE CON WHOO) She's gonna do us up in matching steam punk or at least steam punk theme us. I'm gonna have a hat with gears and all sorts of things on it and a shirt covered in it too and Arcani's gonna have the same theme.

This..Should be good. If we can get away with it my tiny's gonna have a steam punked dress too.

I need to figure out if I'm going the "glass eye" or painted eye route in the 1/6 scale dolls I have planned. Then I have to make them 6-8mm size. I'd love to figure out a way to be able to move the eyes too.

You can always turn dud eyes in to jewelry, someone will want that.

* Every day I'm a bit closer to finishing whomever this will end up being.

And after the previous one decided it wanted to stick to the plastic wrapped chopsticks yet another beginning for a Little Wiggle (the black). This is the first of hopefully many 1/6 scale jointed dolls who wear clothes. Once I have a successful prototype it will be easier to sculpt the others.
