That sounds like a pretty competitive friendship on her part, SugarCorpse. I'm almost glad you're out of it!

I've entered a Lolita Project on youtube with Fille De Porcelaine - I'm super nervous as I don't like the sound of my voice, but it just sounded so interesting!

Here's my entry video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-10qzo3CQw >_< My voice is terrible!

I can see keeping "your thing" away from younger siblings you know would suck the joy out of it (I know I'm not alone in that) but I'd love to have a friend in to it with me. I feel part of me is incomplete without having that one girlfriend that I could share crazy things with, even for five minutes.

As for rules with Lolita or some other life style I can see where they're coming from. If everyone was in it wouldn't feel as special but there's no reason to be hostile to new comers. It turns off potential customers with deep pockets.

I wear size med, or 3, 5, and 6 in jrs. I always have fitting problems when buying long sleeve shirts or jackets. My arms are kind of long, and I think my shoulders are wide or something. Jackets are always tight at my shoulders. haha

That's too bad. I checked the bust and it's about a 30. I would have let it go for cheap for you. I used to have the same long arm problem, but since I gained weight, now it's the shoulders that are too big when I get the bust to fit. Good thing I can sew.

You should look around for another Lollie group that is a little less uptight and into fun instead. There have to be more someplace. People need to get over the 'home-made' and understand it's more like 'custom-made,' especially when you can sew as well as you obviously do.
Just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD.

I'm very glad to be out of it =P its no fun to be friends with someone who makes everything a competition, especially if they get mad at you for "winning" when you don't even know you were competing x___x|| kinda miss her though, but at the same time i really really don't...

your voice is ADORABLE by the way. i'll definitely watch this project thingy

I'm going to stick with Mori. It's pretty much been me and what I liked since before I knew what Mori was.

BUT I have decided that I'm going to be a Lolita Scare Crow/Rag Doll for halloween. ;) I'll post pictures when I get done~
